i go in for abnormal pain from my inoperable broken back they refused to prescribe me pain killers without an x-ray and the x-ray tech went home so they couldn't do it that night instead they made me go home and come back in the morning to prove i was being honest and even after they got their proof instead of helping me with pain they labeled me an addict for requesting pain killers and they sent me to an orthopedic surgeonoh and an emergency room closing at pm really? since when do emergencies not happen after pm only reason it gets 3 stars is because when i went back for that x-ray i was already back home 15 minutes before the appointment was scheduled for and overall quick wait timesbut i come from Ontario where i once waited 6 hours with my hand sliced open to get it stitched back together by the time i saw someone it had already started to heal wrong so they ripped it back open to lay the skin flat to stitch it
Disgusting attitude towards people.I came with my son 6 years old with 40deg fever 1 min before 22:00 and they send me to Fredericton emergency even though I was in Oromocto emergency 2 hours earlier with a same problem. Shame on you people!!!
Due to the lack of family doctors & proper walk in-clinics NB has to offer I (and many others) are forced to go to the ER. We expected a wait (and we definitely did) only to have an appalling experience with the doctor.. I suffer from debilitating anxiety/depression and more then anything wanted reassurance and resources that would be more appropriate for me than the hospital. The doctor was visibly irritated and didn't have an issue telling me to not come to the hospital for mental illness. In his own words he said " I know you came in here and expected me to magically fix you" I was shocked at how unprofessional and just mean he was.. He continued to belittle me and treated my mental health like a joke, I eventually said thank you and walked out. If I could give this place zero stars I think that'd be most suitable... get some better doctors who realize mental health is as serious as any health issue.
Wait so long till you simply die or recover your self.
Couldn't breathe so I went to the hospital, they wouldn't let us in so we had to go to Fredericton. I was diagnosed with pneumonia and had an IV to rehydrate me. Oromocto didn't seem to care.
